2014 City Select Limited Edition in Teal

2014 City Select Limited Edition in Teal

Baby Jogger has the stroller that grows with your family

Whether you’re looking for a travel system, a pram, a double stroller, a triple, or just a single, the 2014 City Select in Limited Edition Teal could be the only stroller you’ll ever need. The most versatile stroller on the market today, the City Select was designed to keep your family rolling as it grows from one child to two… or even three.

Lift the sides and the City Select folds itself: simply and compactly, it really is as easy as it sounds. Snap the latch to lock the stroller for transportation or storage.

With over 16 possible configurations you can make the City Select work for your family. Front facing, parent facing, sibling facing: whatever you need. Add a Second Seat to make it a double. Throw in a Glider Board and you’ve got a triple. (Second Seat Kit and Glider Board sold separately)

This seat was built for comfort. It offers multiple recline positions to make sure that your child is comfortable and safe. With a 45 lb. weight capacity per seat and multi-position footwell, your kids can kick back and enjoy the ride.

People love our SPF 50+ sun canopy because it really throws a lot of shade on a sunny day. It has a peek-a-boo window with magnetic closure so you can quietly check on your little one and it can be adjusted for differing head heights and multiple positions as you open or close it.

Set your 8” lightweight front wheels to swivel for your daily obstacle course or lock for long distance strolling. The 12” forever-air rear tires allow the City Select to cover all kinds of terrain.

A telescoping handlebar adjusts to your height and a hand-operated parking brake keeps all the controls within reach.

The City Select can become a travel system in a heartbeat using the Car Seat Adapter. Just choose the adapter compatible with your car seat and you’ve got a customized travel system for your infant. You can also add a Bassinet Kit to handle even the littlest of passengers. (Car Seat Adapter and Bassinet Kit sold separately).

The 2014 City Select Limited Edition comes in a black frame with red, teal, silver, and black fabric.

2014 Baby Jogger City Mini GT double stroller

January 9th, 2014

Twice the Ride Without Twice the Effort

Whether you’re strolling through the countryside or hustling through Midtown, the 2014 City Mini GT Double gives you the ability to pave your own way. All-terrain wheels let you decide how far you want to go off the beaten path. And with little touches like an adjustable handlebar and a handbrake, the City Mini GT Double is a very accommodating ride.

Lift the straps and the City Mini GT Double folds itself: simply and compactly. It really is as easy as it sounds. And the auto-lock will lock the stroller for transportation or storage.

These seats were built for comfort. The City Mini GT Double seats recline to a near flat position with vents and a retractable weather cover to make sure that your child is comfortable and safe while you stroll.

Our SPF 50+ sun canopies don’t just open and close in multiple positions; they each have two peek-a-boo windows and can be adjusted individually.

Taking a little detour is fun. The City Mini GT Double offers all-terrain wheels that let you make your own rules. The all-terrain wheels and front wheel suspension work in unison to give you full control on where and how you go while keeping your little one comfortable.

An adjustable handlebar can accommodate different heights and a hand-operated parking brake keeps all the controls within reach.

The City Mini GT Double can become a travel system in a heartbeat using the Car Seat Adapter. Just choose the adapter compatible with your car seat and you’ve got a customized travel system for your infant. You can also add one or two Compact Prams to handle even the littlest of passengers. (Car Seat Adapter and Compact Prams sold separately).

Best Side-by-Side Double Strollers for babies

January 4th, 2013

Recommendation for Best Side-by-Side Double Strollers

A few years ago, about the only option a parent had for a double baby stroller was one that had side-by-side seat positions. Since then, fancy new strollers have emerged with complicated seat configurations that allow single-into-double conversions, endless accessory options, and seeming endless price-tags too!

But sometimes the best solutions are the most simple! Over the past few years, too, side-by-side baby strollers have improved too; and there are excellent choices.  Our top strollers for 2014 are listed separately.

When we recommend what we think are the best twin strollers, we’re looking for a number of things.

      Stroller Requirements

    • Can fit through a standard public doorway.
    • 5-point safety harnesses.
    • Seats are compatible with newborn and older when fully reclined.
    • Seats and sun canopies adjust independently.
    • Seat padding and fabric is comfortable for babies.
    • Enough storage to fit two babies’ worth of stuff.
    • Adjustable handlebar for parents’ pushing comfort.
    • Seat width and seat headroom fit older toddlers, for longer use.
    • Quality of construction will last for years.
    • Stroller weight is closer to 30 pounds rather than 40 pounds.
    • When loaded with two children and a packed diaper bag, pushing and steering remain easy.

If you think about each bullet above, the list seems pretty obvious, right? Yet, less than half the side-by-side double carriages on the market make the cut, and only a few really rise above other models for an all-around great double stroller. Print out these requirements, and make it your “must have” checklist when you head to baby stores for double strollers.

Of the dozens we’ve evaluated over the years, two pushchair models are ones we stand behind as highly recommended.

    2014 City Mini GT double

The City Mini GT most stands out for its quick and easy fold. The folded size is compact, more so than most other double strollers. It rolls on 8.5 inch rubberized tires, a good balance of larger than average tire for better handling, but still small enough to keep weight down as well as folded size.

    Bumbleride Indie Twin

Bumbleride is known for its unique blend of style and function. The Indie Twin is one of the most beautiful twin prams available, but without sacrificing any practicality! The fabrics are great too. With 12-inch air-filled rubber tires, the Indie Twin rolls smooth as butter both outdoors and in malls. Adjustments on the seat backs and leg rests, a smaller than average folded size, and ability to take two infant car seats… the Bumbleride double stroller is definitely worth considering.

Because of the weight and size involved, buying a double stroller is a bit tougher than finding a good single-seat stroller. If you have newborn twins, your needs may be a bit different than if you have a toddler and a newborn. Think about how you’ll use the stroller on a daily basis, and that will help guide you regarding what features are most important in addition to the list above.

Please get in touch with us if you have any questions, and happy strollering!
